Rokeby Farm Halloween Quiz Night!

Thank you very much to everyone who came to the quiz night on Friday. Lots of fun was had by all!

During the Easter half term (21/3/16) Cummings brought over lots of volunteers for the two weeks to finally start the upgrade of the farm! We were not sure if we would be able to finish in two weeks but we did! The animals now have new enclosures, we have a lovely new walk way and the forest area has now been cleared for the children to explore. We are so excited to start using the farm and forest areas.

Wilkos, Cummings and Asda have really helped us out!

Wilkos donated seeds and knee pads for our allotment area.

Asda are really helping us by letting us do out of school fund raising in their store. They have also donated £50 from their green coins.

Cummins staff have donated a lot of their time to build the enclosures for the animals, clear out the forest area and make a new path way.

A big, BIG thank you to the people who have helped and/or donated to us so far. We really appreciate it.

We are very proud of you all!

Our new chicken coops!

Donald, Damien and Hope when they were ducklings

Last year our mummy and daddy duck had three beautiful babies called Donald, Damien and Hope who now live in our farm! Nursery helped to hatch them and they watched them grow!

The children in year five helped Miss Cottrell a lot in the farm last year and even wrote letters to different companies asking for more help so we can fully upgrade our farm!

At the beginning of this term Miss Cottrell received some fantastic news!

Some of the companies like Asda have replied and said that they want to help us out in any way they can.

Well done to all the children who wrote the letters! (7/9/2015)
