Welcome to our SEND page.  Should you need information regarding additional help that your child may need, please contact Mrs James, Head of School, in the first instance.

 

Below is a brief introduction to our SEND Team.

 

Miss Caroline Woodhill - SENCO 

  • I have taught across KS1 and KS2 in several primary schools in Rugby and was SENCo at two other primary schools before joining Rokeby in January 2017

  • I achieved the National Award for SEN Co-ordination in 2010

  • I work part time (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) spending Wednesdays coordinating SEN across the school and Thursdays and Fridays teaching Year 5BW

 

Mrs O'Leary - Specialist teacher with the Specialist Teaching Service (STS)

  • I have a post graduate qualification in language and communication impairment in children (up to 18 years)
  • I have 10 years experience with STS, 1 year as assistant Educational Psychologist, 1 years introducing CAF in Warwickshire. 
  • My school teaching experience covers both special and mainstream teaching.
  • I am at Rokeby every Wednesday working with pupils and collaborating with Miss Woodhill on SEN provision

 

Mrs Collins

 

Mrs Collins is an experienced Teaching Assistant with a long career at Rokeby Primary School.  She administers the SEN information in school overseeing the data management and paperwork.
