Welcome to Rokeby Primary School!

 

I hope that our website will give you a taste of our school and keep you up to date with our news.

                       

It is an exciting time at Rokeby because it is quite a new school, with new community facilities and a modern purpose built Foundation Stage Unit. 
 

We are quickly establishing a tradition of staff, families, governors and other members of the community working together to build an excellent school. Together we decided at Rokeby to celebrate the uniqueness of all our children and give them the best opportunity to succeed in all they do.

 

When you look further on the site you will see one way this is happening in practice, through our Rokeby Activity Project to develop our grounds with a conservation area, allotments, stage, magic garden etc.

 

We have recently achieved Healthy School Status and our children represented the school at the Emirates Stadium in the Sainsbury’s Competition when we became one of their ten National ‘Active Kids’ Consultants. We were very proud to be selected from a field of 35,000 schools.

 

We believe that children achieve their best in a lively and dynamic atmosphere which is also consistent, secure and fair.

We have a Children’s Centre, Pre-School, Nursery and After-School on site, so we can provide stability, and build strong, long lasting relationships with our families.
