Countries in Crisis

March 2022
Stowe Valley MAT raised over £6350 in aid of the humanitarian crises in Ukraine and Afghanistan. All proceeds will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and be matched by the government so we have actually raised twice as much.

GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE

The Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust has five Members comprising 1 signatory and 4 Appointed Members.

The Board of Trustees oversees the strategic direction of the MAT working across all schools and having overall responsibility for performance. The current Trustees are listed below, one of whom is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Trust.

Each individual Academy within the Trust has a Local Governing Body with authority delegated via a formal Scheme of Delegation. For the majority of our Academies, responsibility for setting the strategic direction, budget and overseeing performance is fully delegated to the Local Governing Body. Parent Governors are elected to the individual Local Governing Bodies. In addition, there is an Executive Headteachers’ Board which co-ordinates activity across schools and which provides advice to the Trustees.
