Year 6
Autumn Term Learning
Welcome back to our new half-term. This half term is always a busy one and as ever, we have lots of learning to fit in.
Our class book is called Shackleton’s Journey by William Grill. It is a fabulous non-fiction book which will also be incorporated into our topic work. We will be learning about the Antarctic, about both the physical and human geography and the location.
If I can help/support in any way at all then please do not hesitate to contact me on Dojo or call the office and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Mrs Allan.
Welcome back to school! I am so pleased to be back with all the children. This half term will obviously be different to how Autumn 1 usually is. Some children may find it difficult to re-adjust to normal school life (as will I!!) but we are all here to support them. We certainly have some catching up to do, but rest assured, we will be working extremely hard to ensure that all of the children achieve to the very best of their ability.
Due to current guidelines, we cannot have any parents in school but please do not hesitate to contact me. I am on the door at the end of most days, pop a note in the communication book or send me a message on Class Dojo. If you need me to call then just send a Dojo message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I am looking forward to another brilliant year in Year 6!
Mrs Allan

Class Dojo
Please sign up and use Class Dojo to support in shared learning. This is an excellent tool for teachers being able to share information they would like the children to complete, but also for parents to take a photo and send back to the teachers for feedback.
